The selection of rubbers on the market is very wide, from the cheapest for industrial uses (SBR - NBR - EPDM) to the most valuable for special uses (Neoprene - Viton - Hypalon etc.), to rubbers for food use to foam rubber.
Thanks to the versatility of water cutting, we can obtain countless processes on all types of rubber and silicone starting from minimum thicknesses of 0.2-0.5mm up to consistent thicknesses of 150-200mm and more for foam materials.
The waterjet cutting, thanks to its characteristic of being a cold cut, is well used in the cutting of rubber and foam materials, precisely because:

• it has no physical deformation,
• it does not generate thermal alterations of the material or burns,
• the removal of the material with the cutting groove (considering that pure water is used) is 0.10-0.15mm
• it offers the possibility to optimize the material to the maximum with accurate nesting.
